How To Be a SIP Employer and More About the Program

  • Complete the placement form, which can be accessed here by March 18th.

  • Staff will conduct a 20 minute pre-screening of all candidates via Zoom.

  • Staff will forward you up to 10 resumes of candidates who select your company/organization as a place they would like to intern.

    • If you would like to review more or less than 10 resumes of candidates interested in working for you, please let us know.

  • All resumes will be forwarded April 1st and 2nd.

  • You will conduct video/phone interviews with applicants by April 12th.

  • All internship offers must be extended no later than April 26th. (Please note that Passover is April 23rd and 24th and students may not be reachable those days).

  • Supervisors will be invited to join interns for part of Orientation on May 28th.
  • Supervisors will complete two evaluations.

  • Interns will participate in mandatory programming throughout the summer. The dates of the intern programming will be provided well in advance of the start of the program.

  • Staff will communicate pertinent information about the program with supervisors on an ongoing basis.
