How To Be a SIP Employer and More About the Program

Complete the placement form, which can be accessed here by March 10th.

Staff will conduct a 20 minute pre-screening of all candidates via Zoom.

Staff will forward you up to 10 resumes of candidates who select your company/organization as a place they would like to intern.

If you would like to review more or less than 10 resumes of candidates interested in working for you, please let us know.

All resumes will be forwarded during the week of March 28th to 31st.

You will conduct video interviews with applicants by April 21st.

All internship offers must be extended no later than May 5th.
- A supervisor packet including program objectives and details will be forwarded prior to the start of the program.

Supervisors will complete two evaluations.

Interns will participate in three mandatory programming days throughout the summer. The dates of the intern programming will be provided well in advance of the start of the program.

An orientation for supervisors will be held in May.

Staff will communicate pertinent information about the program with supervisors on an ongoing basis.
