How To Be a SIP Employer and More About the Program

  • Complete the placement form, which can be accessed here by March 10th.

  • Staff will conduct a 20 minute pre-screening of all candidates via Zoom.

  • Staff will forward you up to 10 resumes of candidates who select your company/organization as a place they would like to intern.

    • If you would like to review more or less than 10 resumes of candidates interested in working for you, please let us know.

  • All resumes will be forwarded during the week of March 28th to 31st.

  • You will conduct video interviews with applicants by April 21st.

  • All internship offers must be extended no later than May 5th.

  • A supervisor packet including program objectives and details will be forwarded prior to the start of the program.
  • Supervisors will complete two evaluations.

  • Interns will participate in three mandatory programming days throughout the summer. The dates of the intern programming will be provided well in advance of the start of the program.

  • An orientation for supervisors will be held in May.

  • Staff will communicate pertinent information about the program with supervisors on an ongoing basis.
