Interns
The Application Process
Applications are due March 14th.
Please note that the application requires an updated resume and photo which you will upload directly into the application in the format requested.
Once we receive your application, you will be asked to sign up for an interview time slot. Interviews are required and will take place via Zoom.
You will receive an e-mail regarding your eligibility for the program soon after your interview is completed. Not all students will be eligible to move forward to the next step of the process.
If you receive an e-mail that you are eligible to move forward, you will gain access to a website to browse job descriptions and choose your top five internship placement sites. Resumes will be forwarded to employers based on these choices.
Employers will review candidates’ resumes and decide who will be interviewed for the positions. Ultimate hiring decisions will be made by the employers. An eligible candidate must get an offer in order to participate in the program.
Employers are asked to extend all offers by early-to-mid May.
For more information, email Michael Snyder.
Testimonials from past Interns
I participated in the 2024 Cleveland Hillel Summer Internship Program. I worked at the Jewish Federation of Cleveland as the marketing intern and got to do a lot of cool hands-on projects! I am very grateful for this experience and I feel that I have a lot of new skills that I will take with me in my future endeavors!

This summer has completely changed my life. It's taught me where my true passions are in my professional career, and has showed me what direction I want to take my future in post college. I was given so many opportunities and different experiences through my supervisor, others in the department, and the Federation as a whole including going to the Ohio Statehouse to advocate for important issues, as well as meeting elected officials on the local, state, and federal levels. I learned more than I can possibly imagine and I'm so thankful I was given this opportunity.

I got the opportunity to intern at Levin Consulting. I primarily did work with consumer electronic companies, and even a material handling company. I learned a lot about the world of business and consulting, and also learned important skills such as professionalism and leadership.

This summer I worked in the consulting field as part of Cleveland Hillel’s Summer Internship Program. It was a really great opportunity where I learned a lot about professional development while getting closer to the Cleveland Jewish community. I am very happy to have participated in this experience and feel grateful to Cleveland Hillel for running this program.
