Graduate and Professional Students
Cleveland Hillel Foundation is nationally recognized for its extensive programming for hundreds of Cleveland graduate and professional students. Hillel reaches out to them and provides an exciting place for Jewish students to meet, interact and connect to each other and to young Jewish Cleveland as well as networking with professionals in their fields.
We work with Jewish Law Student Association (JLSA) at both CWRU and CSU Cleveland-Marshall, Jewish Medical Student Association (JMSA) at CWRU and Lerner College, and other graduate or professional students at the schools they attend.
Graduate students take part in Hillel activities, as well as programs focused on their professional interests and personal needs. These include Shabbat and Holiday celebrations, Israel events and travel opportunities, leadership initiatives, and sponsoring speakers and other educational programming.
We emphasize the opportunity for students to meet with professionals in their field of study to enhance their experience while studying and training here in Cleveland. Meeting with, being mentored by, or networking with professionals in their fields enables students to grow personally and professionally, by learning about the general community, the Jewish community, career paths and issues.
JCLE , a new initiative, in partnership with PresentTense and the Jewish Federation of Cleveland is reaching hundreds of young people in their 20’s connecting them to one another and the larger Cleveland community through social and cultural programming and volunteer opportunities.
Graduate and Professional students celebrate Judaism through programs centered around:

- Israel programming and travel opportunities
- Leadership initiatives

- Mentoring, Networking, and Connecting Graduate and Professional Students to Professionals in the Community
